An affordable housing development for the Roaring Fork chapter of Habitat for Humanity, Wapiti Commons is located in Rifle, CO and consists of 10) 1,928 sf townhouses and 2) condominium buildings totaling 11,570 sf and providing 10 age-in flats.  With southern orientation along the site, the simplified shed roof masses allow for future roof solar-panel retrofits that would make the development near net-zero in operations.  To combat repetitiveness, the organization of the townhouse mirrors the bottom 2 floors with the top floor rotated along the party wall.
