Located on a prominent slope side property within Mountain Village, this project consists of an extensive tear-down and new construction of a single-family residence over the previous foundation. Sited on a northern ridgeline, window and door openings frame both intimate and expansive views of the near and far landscapes. Along the south, a two-story glazed atrium flanked by multiple tiered decks, capture vistas of Telluride Resort and the mountains beyond, including Sunshine Mountain and Wilson Peak.
liftside penthouse
Located in Vail’s Cascade Village, the project consists of a complete gut renovation, structural modifications with added floor area, and reprogramming of a two-floor penthouse within the Liftside Condominium building. By coalescing the public program immediately upon entry, the lower floor opens into a grand, double-height space, appointed with an ethereal material palette offset by bold but intricately designed millwork interventions.
